I should have started travel blogging many years ago, but better late than never. My dear Eva and I fly today to Buenos Aires and will return to Sweden before Easter.

It's going to be an epic backpacking journey, and here are just some of the highlights you can expect: Big city life, jungle adventures, wildlife, waterfalls, Jesuit missions, carnival celebrations, heavy metal and a cruise back to Europe. It will take us through various parts of Argentina, Paraguay, and Brazil.                                                                                           We'll experience the vibrant culture of Buenos Aires, do some jungle trekking, encounter wildlife like sea lions and turtles, and witness the majestic Iguazu Falls. Being a metalhead, I'll seek out some local rock scenes along the way.                                                                                                    One of the unique aspects of our trip will be visiting the Jesuit missions, which in Paraguay are a UNESCO World Heritage. Our trip coincides with carnival, so we will dip our noses into that as well.                                            Finally, we'll cap off our adventure with a transatlantic cruise back to Europe, a fitting end to what promises to be an unforgettable journey.
