Aventuraymi qallarin

I'm Josie, 26 years old and have been living in beautiful Leipzig since birth. After successfully completing my distance learning course for Marketing Specialist (IHK) on December 14th, I now want to take a little "time out" from Germany and broaden my horizons.

So I applied for unpaid leave at work for 4 months.

I want to use this time effectively and see a lot of the world, educate myself culturally, and meet interesting people and regions.

I will start in Peru on March 29, 2017, hike the famous Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with my mom, then continue alone to the Galapagos Islands and observe the hatching of giant turtles on the beach. My journey takes me through Ecuador, Colombia, the rainforest of Panama and Guatemala. In between, I will see my boyfriend in Mexico on the Yucatan Peninsula and spend 2 wonderful weeks with him at the Grand Bahia Principe Hotel, where we will enjoy 5-star luxury vacation and delicious food.

After that, I will continue along the West Coast through the USA up to Canada. In Vancouver, my adventure ends on July 25th, 2017, and I will fly back to Germany.

All in all, my journey will last 4 months. I am sure that this journey will broaden my horizons and shape me as a person.
