Rasen and haircut

January 6, Epiphany

Yesterday we had our gardener come over to cut the lawn. Today, the hairdresser came to the house to cut Martin's hair. The hairdresser told us that his training only lasted one month.

Even in the park, the trees are being pruned radically.

We have been in Lima for almost 8 weeks now and have only left the city once, for Martin's wedding in the countryside. That's why we are looking forward to going to Tarapoto in the jungle for three days on January 17th. And in early February, we're going to Chile, which we are very, very excited about.

My everyday life is becoming more routine. So now I regularly practice Handel's Messiah using an audio file and the notes I brought with me. It is still planned that we will perform the Messiah in Germany in October.
