Happy New Year 2022

We had a very, very nice New Year's Eve. At 6:00 p.m., a year-end worship service at the church and afterwards a shared meal with Pisco Sour at our place with friends. Very good conversations and exchange about the past year, which is very surprising since we haven't known each other for long. At midnight, there was a manageable fireworks display and the usual noise; luckily not too long. From 11:00 p.m. toque de queda, so quiet on the streets, since everyone had to stay home. So the friends stayed overnight at our place. Today too, there's not much going on in the streets, very pleasant. In the morning, after a delicious breakfast, we had our New Year's swim in the pool. During the day, it got very hot, so you could only stay in the shade. And we just came back from a walk (5:30 p.m.). We walked through a villa district, located on a hill, and had a view of the city of Lima again and again.
