Since Martin did not have a church service yesterday, we visited a free church called Christian Alliance with our friends. The atmosphere is very different, similar to the Free Evangelical Congregation in Germany. Right at the entrance, we received two individually packaged plastic containers with bread and wine - communion. It was a bit unusual, but probably because of Corona. After the church service, we had a very good meal at an Italian restaurant with a terrace. We also found the very limited car traffic on January 1st and 2nd to be very pleasant - a relief. Unfortunately, I have gotten used to breathing very shallowly here, partly because of Corona, but also because of the incredible fine dust.
