A month went by so quickly... a bit sad to have to leave Thailand I boarded the plane bound for Da Nang, Vietnam. π»π³
Since I arrived early in the morning but was too tired for any activities, I spontaneously decided to spend a day at the beach. My FIRST BEACH in Asia after a month π₯³π And this one was quite impressive: Because in contrast to most other beaches in Vietnam, as I will unfortunately find out on my later trip, this one is incredibly clean ππ½ After an incredibly relaxed beach day (I think I sizzled in the sun for 5 hours) I not only had a decent sunburn, but also a lot of steam... π Luckily for me I found an amazing Italian π #torinorrstaurantandbakery After that I just went to bed, because the next day sightseeing was extremely popular πͺπΌπ First of all, I went to the Marble mountains, well... to be honest only to one of them π to visit the caves there. In addition, the view from the top should simply be great...π After I had smuggled past the tourist entrances with my rented scooter (a "parking attendant" followed me for more than 2 kilometers), I found this nice path here. I knew the approximate direction, so I just tried to find the caves on good luckπ€ Even the path through this "secret" garden was wonderful... apart from me, there was no other person to be seen... Vietnam eitherπ" > I found the one or other Buddha π Let's go upstairs πͺπΌ About halfway up there were two little houses... Inside I found this figure π― no idea why, but I was so fascinated by it that I sat down and just stared at it for at least a quarter of an hour π Around every corner there was a mini temple with Buddha statues, both Thai and Chinese. From this temple it was only felt like 5000 steps to the top π From where I then had this view π. I also visited the mountains that you can see in the background that day, but more on that later.π
There were a total of 3 caves to visit, but only one was really worth seeing.
