Hey guys
Today we actually saw almost everything we planned to see and: we were lucky with the weather!
In the morning, we went to the immigration office because our visa is expiring soon... But they told us that we were in the wrong place and sent us elsewhere. However, the other office is only open on Monday - we don't have that much time left in Da Nang... change of plans: we'll take care of it in Ho Chi Minh and if that doesn't work out, we'll go briefly across the border and apply for a new visa. Luckily, we have the motorcycles! So we are really flexible :).
Back at the hotel, we sat on the balcony for a moment and discussed the day. The "golden Bridge" to which we actually wanted to go was much further away than we thought. We expected an hour's drive each way, but it was twice as long! Quickly, we replaced the bridge with the "Son Tra Mountain" - a great motorcycle route right outside our door. And off we went!
We took off on a bike and all the good feedback we had read turned out to be 100% true! There was very little traffic on this route and every few hundred meters there was a beautiful viewpoint! We stopped here and there, sat down comfortably and enjoyed the natural surroundings. Although we had read that there are wild monkeys here, we did not expect to see any. And suddenly, there they were! Two of them ran towards us on the road and at our resting place, a whole group suddenly approached us! They are just so sweet every time!
After about three hours, we were on our way back to the city. We went straight to our next stop:
3D Museum Art in Paradise
Anyone who is now thinking "what? The two of them in a museum? That doesn't fit at all." is actually completely right :).
But if you look at the pictures, you will see what attracted us to it :)).
After a little over an hour in the museum, we were done and really hungry! We found a burger stand and happily enjoyed the delicious fast food *embarrassed grin*.
Then we sat on the balcony again and looked at some of the pictures.
There are really a lot of them! Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted a few... they would have been really cool! But there are probably enough for you to look at already :).
At 9:30 pm, we went to the "Dragon Bridge" to take some photos of this great bridge. Since we are pretty exhausted from this day, we went back to the balcony afterwards and focused on the pictures from today again. Now they are all finished and we hope you like them :).
So, now we're done for the day and we say:
See you tomoorroooow
