As the last few days of our trip have begun, we set off to the beach after a late breakfast at around 10:00 am. We could relax there for a whole day. First, we visited the furthest point of Salvador, where a small lighthouse stands. Then, we drove for about an hour to a beautiful beach with a nearby restaurant. However, as soon as we stepped onto the beach, we were surprised. We were immediately besieged by several vendors, all speaking Portuguese and trying to convince us to take their spot under a sun umbrella. After some back and forth, we all managed to find an umbrella, where everyone's valuables were kept and a supervisor was always present. Unfortunately, we still have to lament the loss of a backpack - someone managed to steal it without being noticed. We stayed at the beach until around 4:30 pm and then started our journey back. Back at the furthest point of Salvador, we had dinner at a delicious pizzeria, which spontaneously served food for almost 70 people! After returning to the Pousada, we discussed the plan for the next day and then went to bed.
