It was time for some adrenaline. I was tempted by the Gorge Swing. Similar to bungee jumping, you are attached to a rope and plunge into the depths. You are attached at the waist, so at least you will dangle correctly in the air when the free fall is over. Plus, with the Gorge Swing, you also swing out and can enjoy the view.
Specifically, that meant for me:
70 meters of free fall (3-5 seconds of flight time)
90 meters of swinging over the Zambezi.
I was sure it was a good idea until I stood on the platform and looked down into the gorge. But now there was no turning back, the guide was already counting backwards from 5.

Wow, what a feeling. The water is getting closer and closer, the rock walls rush past me, and then a tug around the waist and the free fall was over. I could really enjoy the swinging. That was awesome.

The day ended with a beautiful sunset that I could enjoy from a boat on the Zambezi. We sailed towards the sunset in a really cheesy way and enjoyed our beer. A worthy sundowner.
