A little Swedish history on Aspö

Today we drove to Aspö, a skerry just before Karlskrona, with a bright blue sky and 0.0 wind under the engine. The harbor is small and quiet, and we saw a supermarket again after a long time. However, the really exciting thing about Aspö is that the skerries just before Karlskrona were a military restricted area until a few years ago because they were used as a defense facility since the 18th century. You can see that immediately with a huge, impressive castle opposite the harbor. Of course, we visited that.

Tomorrow we will go over to Karlskrona, which is only a stone's throw away from here. We are slowly preparing the boat for the crew change.

I'm sad that my sailing trip ends in Karlskrona, but I'm very excited about Stockholm. I love this city and haven't been there for sooo long ❤️
