Today we drive most of the day by car. Only in between we stop at Burleighs Head Beach. There was a large sand dune, which of course cannot compete with those of the 90 Mile Beach in Nz, but also wonderfully green-blue water, which would invite you to swim if it weren't so cold.

We make the next stop at the Koala Hospital. An outdoor hospital mainly run by volunteers. There cute but sick/injured koalas are nursed back to health and if possible released back into the wild. We just can't get enough of adoring these little plush animals.

After lunch we go to ALDI and then do a bit of shopping.
