Athenree-Hot Water Beach-Cathedral Cove-Whitianga-Whangapoua

First, I went to Hot Water Beach today, it was cool with the digging pools and the hot water. It was really nice with this weather. Then I went to Cathedral Cove, it's a 30-minute walk to a rock formation that has a hole in it that looks like a cathedral. It's also a beautiful beach. On my way back to the car, I treated myself to a delicious smoothie, it was really good. Then I went to Whitianga, a very charming little village. Every little village here has so many small and beautiful cafes. Then I went to Whangapoua for camping. It's very simple but has a great view, even with the weather. The owner came to greet me when I arrived and we ended up talking for about 2 hours. He's such a lovely person, and he later brought fresh caught fish for us to eat along with tomatoes from his garden. In the evening, he played the guitar and sang with the neighbors. It was such a beautiful encounter.
