Hello everyone
Today, the change from Khao Sok National Park to Koh Samui was on the agenda.
Even though we knew that we would be on the road all day and that our program was tough, we did not let ourselves be rushed.
Before we started, we filled up the scooters right across the street and at exactly 11 o'clock we started. We had 173 kilometers to cover and everything went absolutely smoothly! We took a total of three breaks, two short ones for 10 minutes each and one longer one for about 20 minutes.
We reached the port at 2:30 p.m., were able to buy tickets right away and drove directly onto the ferry with the scooters. Luck was completely on our side, because this is one of the few transport ferries for vehicles and as always we knew absolutely nothing about the schedule ☺️
We made ourselves comfortable on the outside deck of the ferry and leaned back. After 1.5 hours on the ferry, we reached the island of Koh Samui ☺️
You will be surprised, but after our stay in Khao Sok National Park, the island was almost a culture shock!
In the national park, there were only a few other vehicles on the road, finding a restaurant was difficult, the likelihood of finding a shop: low, and finding something like RedBull sugarfree - impossible.
Here we drove off the ferry and got stuck right in the traffic. The sides of the streets are lined with shops, restaurants, bars, tattoo shops and all kinds of attractions. It is noisy, hectic and there are people everywhere - but it's fun that things are happening again ☺️
For the last 25 kilometers, we needed another 45 minutes and then we finally made it!
We reached the accommodation, were greeted by our host right away and led to our place to stay for the next four days.
Wow, guys, this place is amaaaaaaaaazing!!!! So awesome!!! The interior is huge and the pool on the terrace is GIGANTIC! But take a look at the pictures yourself 😉
Firstly, we sat down on the terrace and rested a bit from the hours of travel ☺️
At around 7 p.m., we went out again to get something to eat. The restaurant right around the corner won because it looked really cute. Good decision, because the food (today we both decided on the crispy chicken burger ☺️) was very tasty!
Now it's 9:15 p.m. and we're ending the evening on the new, huge terrace.
So we say goodbye for today and say:
See you tomorrowwwwwww
