I am awake again at 7:30 am and make coffee. We have breakfast in front of our "castle" and are once again happy that no one lives in the neighborhood. The RVs are also empty. As the morning progresses, you can see people cleaning individual RVs, possibly the forerunners of the "Memorial Weekends."
I spend the day reading and sitting in my camping chair, with my feet on the bench in front of our house. A wonderfully lazy day. The sun is shining, we eat our leftovers and treat ourselves to a well-chilled bottle of Beringer White Zinfandel after sunset.
When it is dark, there is some larger animal in the bushes next to the cabin, only 1.5-2m away from us. As we jump onto the bench, the invisible animal jumps away, collides with the rain gutter at the corner of our cabin after a loud grunt, and disappears behind our cabin into the bushes. Phew!
