We stay a little longer
First things first: We have applied for a second E-Visa, and *trumpet* can stay 3 months longer! :) So we are staying a total of 5 months. In May, we will go to Argentina as planned!
What does Wellington (capital) aka Welly (wood) have to offer?

Lots of culture for free! Great and small museums, galleries, and beautiful green spaces!

Sailor stories

What a green city...

What was particularly beautiful?
Zealandia! Restoration project with the goal of getting everything back to how it was BEFORE humans arrived. Thirty native birds, lizards, only native plants. What a beautiful bird concert!

Our favorites:

*****
From Welly, we took the ferry to the South Island to Picton

We slowly made our way along the North

******
A week in Nelson.
In Nelson, we stayed at the "Paradiso Backpackers". An affordable piece of paradise with sauna, pool, jacuzzi, and cinema bus

There were homemade(!) spaetzle, fries, and bread. Paradise.

******
From here, we went to Takaka (Hippietown) and Cape Farewell (which really looks like a kiwi on the map)
And again, pure nature

For those who made it this far (we won't squeeze another 4 weeks into one blog entry!!) here comes the highlight: the sealion baby - at the dream beach

The camera battery was empty afterwards! :D

Thanks for reading!
Best regards
