Hey ho! 😉
I'm back on the ranch since one week.
We have chosen our area of focus. The choices were stable, workshop, programming, kitchen or media.
I chose media because I find it really interesting how a picture can develop when you edit it. So I have already learned a lot about the camera. Among other things, how to make the right settings to get the best possible photo or how high the ISO can be when you want to take pictures outside in the dark or in the bright sun. I have also already edited some pictures. Maybe soon you will see some pictures that I have taken on the social networks. ☺️ Since I want to study media in Germany, I thought it would be advantageous for me to learn some basics here.
Now back to the media project I told you about. The video is finished and can be viewed on the social networks on the Miracle Mountain Ranch page. However, I am not visible in it. Not all of the footage was used because there will be more promotional videos in the future. And to ensure that they have enough material, some of our shots are in reserve.
Last Friday, a few students and staff went to Corry to sing for the people in the town. I didn't sing any Christmas carols myself. My task as part of the media team was to capture the moments with the camera. 📸
On the way there, I had to marvel. People are preparing for Christmas and decorating their houses. Some houses are full of lights. You don't see a spot without light. Some have also filled the entire garden with colorful figures.
Last night we had our Christmas party. A choir consisting of students and staff sang some songs. Then there was a devotional and a small children's choir. Everything was streamed live. I also took pictures and some nice family pictures were taken. If you want, you can watch the livestream from yesterday on the page https://mmrm.org/live-christmas-presentation/ and test your English ;)
See you soon ✋🏻
