Here is the new March update.

But before you continue reading here, take a quick look at the second to my last blog entry. There I uploaded some pictures from the second year student trip to Indiana, where we were at the biblical counseling conference. 😂

I wanted to give you the link from the cinematic film we made last time in the media department. If you don't know anything about it right now, I recommend you to have a look at my last blog entry to read (again) the topic and the synopsis. 😊 I had not uploaded the video to Facebook now. From the media department, we went to the promotional event in Erie again. Along for the ride again: the mini Shotgun! 🐴 We answered all kinds of questions about the ranch and to raise awareness about various open houses and of course our summer camp, which by the way starts again around the end of June/ beginning of July. At this event were the various exhibitors. All in the areas of nature, outdoor, fishing, vacation and and and... 🏞 In addition, there was a large exhibition of RVs, which made joy on vacation.

Last Saturday there was a bridal shower of one of our staff members. The decorations were really nice and there were a few games. There were 50 rings hidden. Whoever found the most rings before the bride-to-be would open the presents in front of everyone won. 🎁

The next game went as follows: The future maid of honor asked a few questions to the groom beforehand, and then asked the same question to the bride at the ceremony. If the answers did not match, the bride had to make a new gum in her mouth each time. 👰🏼

The final action was for the bride to open the gifts in front of everyone. Meanwhile, everyone could participate in a bride bingo. You have a card with squares where you can guess what the bride is getting as a gift. If you were right, you can circle your answer. If you guessed five things in a row, vertically or horizontally, you shout BINGO! Now one got a small gift. 🎁

Who would have thought that this bridal shower would be my first - and then in America! 🤭🇺🇸

Monday was finally the day: I went to a real American auction for the first time! ☺️ It was only a small auction, but it was exactly how I imagined it. There were old antique things being sold. When I entered the building with a staff member, I was really amazed and directly excited to see how something like this goes. At the reception we got an auction ticket. But we just wanted to watch and did not bid. 😂 Now let's be honest. I almost couldn't understand the man in front. He was talking so fast and sometimes the words were so unclear that you really had to listen more closely to what he was saying. It's insane how much is sold and which things went for cheap and which were super expensive. Someone got 2 chairs for $5 while another just bought a little old decoration for a lot of money.

Being there alone and having this feeling was awesome. 😄 Next I would like to go to a horse auction sometime. 🐎 I have already spoken with the Barn Director. Let's see if and when that might be possible. 🤔

We are already into the 7th month of our school program. Time is going by so fast and we are starting to get ready for summer positions. I will most likely be doing something in media again and managing the videos we always shoot. 🎥🎬 Possibly some of the first year media students will stay for the summer as well. After all, students don't have to stay in the department they are in for the school year. They can also transfer for the summer. ☀️

Maybe I can tell you more about my future plans soon. 🙋🏼‍♀️ It's still a few months away. But they go by faster than you think... 🤭😢
