The time has come, the last day in tropical Singapore has come. We have time during the day and enjoy our last breakfast at the hotel. Müsli notes “now we are responsible for ourselves, we have to make our own coffee and no one spoils us so much anymore.” Afterwards we walk a bit more, because we'll have to sit down later. We walk through Labrador Park, which borders directly on our hotel, and marvel for the last time at the number of huge ships queuing at the second largest port in the world. We get a coffee at the hotel before we make our way to the train in the tropical rain.
The flight is significantly shorter than the first, after all it is only 9 hours and 10 minutes instead of 11 hours and 20 minutes. There are a few more restless minutes, but not really bad. I slept a little more, although I could only sleep with music on my ears. Because anyone who suffers from misophonia can understand me: (some insiders probably know who I mean)) In addition to cereal, the woman (not lying) turned her nose up every minute, the entire flight time!
In New Zealand we get through all the checks quite relaxed after two or three pebbles have been removed from our shoes!
The bus takes us to our first accommodation in 20 minutes, where we are pleased to find that the washing machine is actually in the room. Today we're just doing a little walk around the city, washing Singapore's clothes and enjoying the clotheslines we brought with us.
Now sleep quickly and switch to the new time! There is now exactly a 12 hour time difference to Germany.
