After the 'official' event, we decided to spend the evening in a relaxed way and continued to Clark Quay, a waterfront promenade where there are plenty of bars and music on the weekends. The view from the opposite side of the river to the promenade is wonderful. Unfortunately, my photography skills were once again very poor there. I hope that sooner or later I can provide a sharp, non-blurry image. Here's a photo in the middle of the action.

Well, and what must not be missing in an entertainment district in Singapore in the middle of October? Correct, a Bavarian Oktoberfest. By the way, there's more than enough of that here throughout October.
From Clark Quay, we strolled towards Esplanade, a promenade at Marina Bay where you have a great view. Not only of the skyline of Singapore:
