Yamanouchi - Off to the countryside

After 7 days in Osaka (about 2.7 million inhabitants), we are now relaxing in Yamanouchi (12,000 inhabitants). Yamanouchi is known for its ancient onsen tradition and its proximity to the Snow Monkey Park. In the Snow Monkey Park, the monkeys have made it a tradition to regularly bathe in the hot natural springs.

We have our own room in a hostel here. The entire house is not entered with shoes, and almost all furniture is traditionally located directly on the floor.

The friendly owners were able to give us some tips on vegetarian meals and the surrounding area. So we are looking forward to a bit of nature, tranquility, and good food.
