My first and only hostel experience in Morocco is very special because I am the only guest...

The hostel was recommended to me by Richard and Veronika, with whom I did the desert tour.

The hostel owner opened the hostel in a typical Moroccan designed riad just a few weeks ago. Accordingly, he is very concerned about the well-being of his guests, or rather me. He even helps me get my train ticket to Fes.

After all the couchsurfing experiences, it's nice to have some time for myself. Assilah is a beautiful little quiet town with a lot of street art in the old town. I am there during the absolute off-season, which means it's even quieter.

I'm only staying for one night because Yxxxx (the hostel owner, whose name I can't remember anymore) is going to Rabat the next day and it might be a bit too quiet for me then. After a fantastic breakfast, I enjoy the sun again and then take the train to Fes in the afternoon.
