The fourth day in the city of the sun starts again with a self-made breakfast (toast and cereal) in the hostel.
Right after, we make our way to an internet café so that we can plan our stay and the trip to Mexico in more detail. Once we arrive there, we spoil ourselves with coffee, cookies, and sandwiches while spending almost the rest of the day in the nice little coffeehouse.
In the evening, we had to live up to our reputation, Austrians apparently have the reputation in the USA that we like to party, and explored the nightlife of San Francisco. An American beer here, an Irish beer there, and small snacks in between sweetened our evening.
On the last day, we stayed in bed a bit longer and enjoyed a leisurely sleep. After brunch in the hostel kitchen, we took the subway and the bus to get to Twin Peaks, two extremely popular viewpoints. As we got off the bus, we were greeted by a gust of wind ala America :) and suddenly it felt like we had 20 degrees less. Nevertheless, we fought our way against the wind up the hills and enjoyed a truly breathtaking view of SFO. On the way back, which we covered on foot again, we also got to know the LGBTQ community's scene district. Overwhelmed with enthusiasm, I dragged Anna back to the subway so that we could make it to our dinner in China Town before sunset. Little convinced, we made our way back home late in the evening and went to bed.
