Los Angeles - Hollywood

Unfortunately, I couldn't update the blog yesterday. Our hotel Wi-Fi didn't allow me to edit the page or had an issue 🙄 So there might be slight delays in the reporting.

This morning, we slept a bit longer and then had to pack our suitcases. Time just flies by. After storing the suitcases in the car and checking out of the hotel, we went to have breakfast at our favorite place from the past few days. Today, we were a bit more cautious with the amount of food. There was a Greek scrambled eggs with feta, spinach, and mushrooms, and also a cheese-chili scrambled eggs (but the chili referred to chili con carne). Hindsight is 20/20. But both dishes were delicious.

Then we satisfied our gambling addiction at the roulette table one last time. We just love it. Our temporary winnings of 38 dollars ended up being only 11 dollars. It's just too much fun 🙈. We used some of the money to buy coffee for the journey and off we went.

Our last stop was the famous entrance sign of Las Vegas. There were lots of people waiting in line to take a photo in front of it. We were a bit cheeky and just took a photo from the side and quickly left without having to wait for 45 minutes 😂.

Our car journey was supposed to only take 4 hours. But apparently, it wasn't a good idea to leave Las Vegas on a Sunday. There was a lot of traffic and we could only roll at 20 miles per hour most of the time, which made the journey unnecessarily long and it felt like we were on the road forever. During the drive, we were once again amazed by the breathtaking views. It's incredible what this country has to offer.

Right on time for the sunset, after a 6-hour drive, we finally arrived in Los Angeles. We have a super small room with a private bathroom. Of course, it can't compare to the huge hotel room in Las Vegas, but it's perfectly adequate for sleeping. The temperatures have also changed significantly. From 48 degrees in Las Vegas to a relatively cold 30 degrees for us.

Tomorrow, we have Hollywood (-sign) and of course the Walk of Fame on the agenda. See you soon 😊
