Today we set off from Swindon to Windsor. Our first stop was the famous "Magic Roundabout", a traffic arrangement that poses tricky puzzles for even experienced road users - two roundabouts in opposite directions with a touch of magic. It is a junction that basically consists of two concentric roundabouts in opposite directions, which are connected to each other via five small roundabouts.
In the morning we took a look at the elite Eton Boys' School, where school fees cost more than some luxury cars and an exclusive school wardrobe is apparently indispensable. After this experience we moved on to Windsor, where we were welcomed by a royal changing of the guard with great musical fanfare and a police escort.
Finally, London city life, with all its 8 million inhabitants, called to us. However, a city tour by bus turned into more of a traffic jam visit - the traffic seemed to have conspired against us.
But our guide Robert finally freed us from the bus and we were able to explore the streets of London on foot, after a quick toilet stop of course. Our day trip also included a relaxing boat trip on the Thames.
We were expecting to experience a bit of Brit weather on the tour, but today it was "all sunny and warm". So today we had a nice 30 degrees in London.
After an eventful day full of sights, we are now exhausted and hungry on the way to our current hotel, which is on a former airfield in south London. Let's see what tomorrow has in store for us.
