Halloween è alle porte 

Il quinto giorno del nostro viaggio eravamo di nuovo nella nostra scuola superiore con i nostri studenti in scambio.

Sono molto felice che la mia studentessa in scambio non abbia mai lezioni nel primo blocco e quindi devo sempre andare a scuola più tardi e posso dormire di più.

Nel secondo blocco la mia studentessa in scambio avrebbe dovuto avere economia. È così che si chiama una materia simile all'economia.

Tuttavia, ha detto che 'economia' non è molto interessante e mi ha offerto di andare anche alle lezioni di tedesco della sua insegnante.

Ci sono andata e c'erano in totale 5 tedeschi e 7 americani.

(Quindi i corsi qui alla scuola superiore sono molto più piccoli rispetto alla nostra scuola.)

All'inizio della lezione di tedesco ci siamo presentati e abbiamo parlato un po' dei nostri hobby e dei cibi preferiti.

Dopo abbiamo fatto un piccolo gioco. Si doveva formare sempre una coppia tra un tedesco e un americano.

Per prima cosa, all'americano sono stati bendati gli occhi. L'insegnante ci ha quindi detto diversi luoghi nella scuola dove dovevamo portare gli americani. Ovviamente dovevamo fare tutto questo in tedesco.

Dopo abbiamo giocato al contrario, in modo che l'americano dovesse guidarci.

È stato davvero molto divertente.

Nel terzo blocco sono stata di nuovo con la mia studentessa in scambio. Aveva inglese. Lì stanno leggendo Shakespeare.

Nel quarto blocco sono stata nel coro.

Qui non è un'attività extracurricolare, ma una materia normale che si può scegliere.

Inoltre, qui non c'è solo un coro normale, ma anche un cosiddetto 'Show Choir'. Questo significa che oltre a cantare si balla anche.

Il coro qui è davvero molto impressionante.

Alle 17:00 ci siamo incontrati di nuovo tutti insieme con i nostri studenti in scambio nella mensa della Washington High.

Abbiamo intagliato insieme delle zucche, è stato davvero molto divertente.

Dopo abbiamo ordinato della pizza e l'abbiamo mangiata tutti insieme. Dopo aver fatto delle foto a tutte le zucche e sistemato tutto, siamo andati in palestra e abbiamo provato tutti i tipi di sport.

Abbiamo trascorso tutti davvero una bella serata e non vediamo l'ora di trascorrere più tempo insieme.

Halloween is coming 

On the fifth day of our trip, we went back at our high school with our exchange students.

I am so glad that my exchange student never has classes in the first block and therefore I always have to go to school later and can sleep longer.

In the second block my exchange student would have had economics.

But she said to me that 'economics' isn’t that exciting and offered that I can also go to the German lessons of her teacher.

I went there and we were a total of 5 Germans and 7 Americans there.

( So the courses here at the high school are much smaller than at our school.)

At the beginning of the German class we introduced ourselves and talked a bit about our hobbies and favorite food.

After that we played a little game.

First, a german and an american had to get together.

After that the American was blindfolded. Than the teacher told us different places in the school where we should take the Americans. Of course we had to do all this in German.

Afterwards we did it the other way around, so that the American had to lead us.

That was really a lot of fun.

In the third block I had an other classes with my exchange student together. It was english, where they just had to read Shakespeare.

In the fourth block I was at the choir.

At the Washington High School choir is a real classes, which you could choose.

Besides there is a show choir next to the 'normal choir”. This means that in addition to singing, there is also dancing.

So the choir here is very impressive.

At 5:00 p.m. we all met again with our exchange students in the cafeteria of the Washington High School.

We carved pumpkins together, which was really fun.

After that we ordered pizza and ate it all together. After we took pictures of all the pumpkins and cleaned everything up, we all went to the gym and tried all kinds of sports.

So we alle got to knew each other better because this was the first activity we all did together.

All in one we all had a really nice evening and are looking forward to spending more time together.
