Ladies Coffee Gathering

On Sunday afternoon, we women took off in the van. We packed hot water and a cake. The drive took us over Eschenmosen (which was no problem even with four of us 😊) to Embrach and Pfungen. In Neftenbach, we took the turnoff to Buch am Irchel. There were many motorbike riders and day trippers on the way, even 3 little motorbike boys struggling up the hill.

We parked 'Emily' near the lookout tower at the edge of the forest, where there was also a small park bench. We made ourselves comfortable, ate cake, and chatted for a while. When the sun disappeared behind the trees, it became noticeably cooler. After all, it was only the beginning of April. So we packed everything up and the pop-up roof was put back down. The return journey also went without any problems. At the traffic light near the post office in Bülach, we were interrupted by a horn while chatting. Stöph zoomed past us on his Indian motorcycle 🏍, a big grin on his face! 😝

The women liked it! It was a cozy trip into the countryside.

Only the smell of gasoline in the van is still bothering us. We had to keep the windows slightly open so we wouldn't get "fogged up"...

Later, Berni crawled under the VW to get to the bottom of the problem. Either the carburetor is not set correctly or the fuel vent (?), i.e. a hose, needs to be replaced. We will inquire at the VW workshop in Winterthur. 😏
