We set off early again towards Bodo. From there, we take the ferry to the Lofoten Islands. What we didn't know was that the ferry only departs at noon. So, we had the whole morning to spare. After a nice walk and breakfast in the sun, we set off. The pure travel time was 3.5 hours. We enjoyed the crossing in the best weather. Upon arrival, we drove straight to the beach, where the Northern Lights should be especially visible. The beach was already full of photographers in the afternoon. The Northern Lights were visible from around 8:00 PM. They were very faint, but they put on a little dance. The further north we go, the more visible they are. We are looking forward to the next clear nights.
