San Gimignano

It was Easter. And we thought everything would be closed. But no. All the shops were open and the town was crowded. So breakfast and lunch were covered 😀

The food is so damn good and you just want to keep eating. Gnocci, pasta, and pizza 🍕 it doesn't matter what, there's always something. And the ice cream here is usually a dream too.

Just like on this day. The town, like many towns in Tuscany, is located on a hill. So we often had to go up the street with the buggy🥵. After enjoying a nice little croissant on the stairs, we explored the town with its small, bumpy alleyways and discovered the amazing restaurant in a side street. Here we had lunch with a fantastic view. It was windy that day, but still very beautiful in the sun. Of course, we had to eat the spaghetti with truffles again 😁 and what can we say: Henriette really liked it 🤣🤣 she's a little gourmet 😂🥲

Afterwards, we went to one of the ice cream parlors that had won a World Championship. As the pictures show, we were also impressed. After a walk with the dog, we set off towards Siena.
