Today we had to say goodbye to the Rocky Mountains 😓 we really enjoyed it here and we were glad to have extended our stay for another day. Especially because rain was forecasted for today. And it happened: it rained more or less for the whole 300km drive. So we drove quickly; only stopped once for a breakfast break and soon arrived in Revelstoke. An hour earlier, because we had to set the clock back ☺
Before heading to Lamplighter Campground, we parked outside the city and walked in. It was further than we thought, but we were rewarded with a delicious meal at the 'Big Bend Cafe'.
Once we arrived at the campground, which was small but very nice, we retreated to our camper and surfed the internet extensively again, because there was WiFi here 👍 it was still raining outside 🌨
Distance driven: 301km
Conclusion: a rainy day is manageable
