When we woke up today, it was really cloudy and foggy on the coast. Nevertheless, we went for a walk on the 90 Mile Beach. We couldn't see further than 200 meters. With the roaring waves (after all, it had stormed all night) and the fog, the beach had a very special atmosphere. Given the weather, we didn't mind spending some time at the Shell Museum. With 80 thousand exhibits, it impressively demonstrates the biodiversity on our planet!
Since we had to go to a workshop due to a battery problem, our planned onward journey was delayed. As a result, we involuntarily had the opportunity to experience the 90 Mile Beach in sunshine again. The sea was still too rough for swimming, but the temperatures were ideal for another beach walk. It was still too murky for 90 miles visibility, but definitely further than we had thought shortly before.
In the late afternoon, we enjoyed the last rays of sun at Cape Conran before reaching our nice "free camp" at Canned River.
