Next, we went to Myanmar. It was difficult to decide where to go because I actually wanted to go to India, but after some research, I found out that May and June are probably the worst months to travel to India, with temperatures up to 50 degrees and the monsoon season starting right after. So I decided against India and for Myanmar. I quickly realized that it was already very hot there too. I landed in Yangon, which is in the southern part of the country. I started exploring the city and a new country. There were also some things that were different: men wore skirts, women and children had yellow color on their faces - Thanakha, as I later learned, makeup, sunscreen, cosmetic all in one. I visited a local market where there was everything - fruits, vegetables, fish, and much more. Then I also visited the Shwedagon Pagoda, the most famous attraction in Yangon. It's a huge temple complex with many golden temples and Buddhas. And it was sooo hot....
