I used the 3-month winter break to fill up my travel budget by working a part-time job at a French bakery.
Now I am traveling again (this time not alone, but with my travel partner Ole and his 4x4 Landrover) through France to Spain. I'm happy that I can win a friendly smile from the French people with my few French words and I enjoy the much more delicious authentic French croissants.
Today we ended up at the same campsite (Camping de Soleil) that I visited half a year ago, and we cycled through Bordeaux with our bikes, but this time not in a t-shirt and shorts, but in a winter jacket, hat, and (very important) gloves.
Once again, the city impresses with its mix of old buildings and streets and, above all, the great transportation concept, where bicycles always have their own lane.
Tomorrow we're going to Arcachon again, but this time the swimsuit won't be in the backpack, but the kite will be.
