Lake Michigan

Finally have breakfast with normal dishes and not disposable stuff 👍🏻 For this, the Getaway Hostel gets an extra point!

When you drive from there towards Toledo, you drive very picturesquely along Lake Michigan towards the city center. Unfortunately, it was a bit hazy today.

On the way to Toledo, we drove through parts of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.

Near New Buffalo is the Warren Dune State Park, where we made a two-hour stop.

A quick dip in Lake Michigan, Marten also swam a round and then up to the big dune.

Exhausting but the view over the park and the lake is worth it!

We satisfied our hunger today at Five Guys with burgers. Definitely one of the better fast food chains!

Arrived well at the Hampton Inn in Toledo 👍🏻
