Yesterday, I had trouble with internet connection (ultimately phone settings) 😂. Thanks to Burki, I can write again today. So: At 1:00 p.m. yesterday, embarkation at the port of Tarifa. We were concerned about the height of our Rudolf, they emphasized that during ticket sales, but no problem. After about 40 minutes, we reach Tangier. And of course, we are the ones waved out. A huge truck serves as a scanner to scan the cars. They check for people who might still be in the car. Exciting for us. Burki gets scolded when entering the port. Why? Just paparazzi with video camera. We leave Tangier quite quickly and drive to Mouley Bousselham on the Atlantic coast. Another nice recommendation from Kurt and Angie (Thanks) 😂. The campsite is multicultural. We take care of SIM cards, gas, laundry and our first shower since our departure. Well, washcloths still exist. We get a SIM card right next door and the good man is very patient with us. Mouley Bousselham is located in a lagoon, the water is shallow, lots of marshland all around. Ideal for bird life. We take a boat trip with a local. We are underway for about 1:30. We see flamingos, but they are relatively far away. But overall, it is nice to perceive the extent of the lagoon. There is a lot of hustle and bustle at the small harbor. There are many different kinds of fish. I explain that I am a vegetarian, otherwise they would have gladly sold me one of those animals. Some were still alive. Tomorrow we will continue south along the coast. It is still exciting. Today, I also often thought about being at home. My mum turned 82 today. Many thanks Aischa for taking care of her. It's nice to feel that everything is going well while on the road.
