After breakfast we went to the train station in Mestre, to the Flixbus stop. The bus was a little late, I recognized Pepe's bike, but Pepe didn't want to get off, but it worked out after all. For the insiders among you, we were greeted with a Bavarian Moretti. Pepe got his bike ready and then we set off straight away, towards Ghioggia. The route that our komoot friend had chosen was beautiful. In the morning we had our first coffee and for lunch we had a few cherries and a banana. Shortly afterwards we were in Ghoggia, "Little Venice" which, in contrast to Venice, is still quite original, not spared from tourism, but worth seeing. We pushed our bikes through the alleys and looked at the place, had a drink at the fishing harbor and booked the hotel. We can recommend Ghioggia if you are ever in the area. In the late afternoon we arrived at the very nice, stylish hotel. Isolated location but with a restaurant. Tomorrow we're heading to the Po Valley. Unfortunately the weather forecast isn't that good, but maybe the rain in May will help.....
