The ladies wanted to take another day off today, which is not a bad idea up here. After a perfect sunrise and a good breakfast, I was filled with curiosity and set off to explore the southern valley. There were over 800 meters of altitude to overcome. The trail was pleasant to hike, passing through intensively used agricultural areas. The people here mostly live as self-sufficient farmers. Out of nowhere, a school suddenly appeared and since it was a working day in Nepal, it was open. After the usual questions about where I'm from, where I'm going, and where my friends are, two female students invited me to visit the school. It was quite an attraction, I was shown around all the rooms and had a conversation with the teacher. By that time, it was oppressively hot and when I reached the bottom, I sat down at a bistro next to a ford and watched the vehicles trying to cross the ford and the people busy with the rice harvest. Although I could have sat there forever, I eventually gathered my strength and started the sweat-inducing ascent. Another very interesting day!
