At 7 o'clock in the morning the alarm clock rings. Today we are going to Guatape, which is mainly known for a huge rock. We booked a tour there because the bus ride takes at least 2 hours. Breakfast and lunch are included. Before we go to the rock, the bus stops in the town of Marinilla. There is a small guided tour and then we continue. Arriving at the rock, it already makes a very impressive impression. Its size is said to be similar to that of an iceberg, two thirds are underground. We climb the 700 steps and are rewarded with a beautiful view. By the way, the landscape was created in the 1970s due to the creation of a reservoir. After that, we go directly to the town of Guatape for sightseeing. Then we drive back to the hostel, where we arrive after almost 12 hours.
