Our 2 days in Hong Kong went by really quickly. We landed on Sunday at 8 pm and then went straight to our hotel, which, however, was easier said than done to find. After over half an hour of searching in 30-degree heat, I was almost ready to give up, but then we finally found it. It should be noted here that we had been searching the whole time in just one building (!). Our room was also a nice surprise because with our luggage, we couldn't even both fit in it, but since it was quite cheap, we didn't complain, not even when our entire room flooded while showering because it seems the door wasn't sealed.
On Monday, we had booked a half-day tour and visited Victoria Peak (the Sky Terrace), Aberdeen Fishing Village, and Stanley Market. It was all really interesting and we were infinitely grateful for the air-conditioned bus.
Today, all that was left on the program was shopping, which is already exhausting enough in such a big city at 34 degrees. But then at least we can sleep well on the plane :D
