Floating Village

So dear ones, here are some updates. Phew, so much has happened again.

About Siem Reap: It's a cute city with good cafes. The special thing here was the Royal Garden, where hundreds of fruit bats live in the trees. Disgustingly loud! And so many... breathtaking.

In addition, I took a trip to a village that has a river running through it, which during the rainy season has water levels 6 meters higher than during the dry season. Hard to imagine, but the water actually reaches the top of the stairs in the pictures. I could hardly believe it myself. Unfortunately, the elephants that used to live here were completely killed off. Such a pity for these beautiful animals. There used to be crocodiles here too, but they have been almost completely reintroduced into the wild. Well, who is the most dangerous animal in the world? That's right: humans! Why? Oh, because they are intelligent! Nope, as dumb as a doorknob.
