... scrambled eggs without bacon - you can do it, but you don't have to.
What I never expected - a blues evening at Lake Maggiore. 4 bands in the streets on a mild night... Even the Italians could 'warm up' to the blues and danced happily until midnight.
For us, the next day we continued to Turin, our actual destination. There were only Rammstein fans' vans in the large parking lot, so we immediately got to know our neighbors, 'won' 2 better spots, and had a lot of fun together. The show is even more gigantic in a stadium open at the top. Italy rocks and even sings the German national anthem. Lindemann skipped the controversial line and turned the microphone towards the audience. It worked. Surprisingly - I don't like them singing it. Anyway, the Italians were quite familiar with the lyrics. It was gigantic!
The next day we dedicated to the city, parked our car in a small parking lot near the Po River, and let ourselves drift. Turin's old town is worth seeing, but we wouldn't necessarily come back for that.
