In the morning, we are woken up by a radio call from boatswain Seba, who arrives with guests on the boat earlier than planned. Without breakfast, we rush down to make the entrance. Afterwards, I try to make semolina as there are still no oatmeal deliveries. It becomes a rather lumpy mess, but hunger drives us to eat it.
Marco comes down and delights us with Snickers.
Pati returns with the 12 o'clock boat. There is also a generous supply of food on board.
There is strong wind and waves, so docking only succeeds on the third attempt. We carry the supplies upstairs. Since this is the last time that most of us are together, Marco, Pati, Lars Porter, and I (except Jan, poor guy is currently in Alerces) have a big farewell meal consisting of a frozen chicken. Just what I like. Instead, I enhance the rice and vegetables with a serving of scrambled eggs.
In the afternoon, I take a large amount of food to Refugio Alerces. Once I arrive, Jan and I cook rice with zucchini cream sauce. The guests at the refugio are feeling generous and give us around 2 kilograms of spaghetti, several ready-to-eat rice meals, eggs, and bananas throughout the evening. Score!
