Then I took the bus to the city center and checked in at a more central hostel. Consequently, I explored the city a bit, but somehow I had the feeling that everyone here just wants my money. Starting with the people on the street, then at the Sole Pagoda, people grab you to guide you around and you can't really refuse and afterwards they naturally expect to be rewarded, followed by the lady at the entrance who also wanted money just because I, like everyone else, had left my shoes there. It's Asia and it's not a lot of money, but somewhere it's still a bit annoying. Afterwards, I went to the Then Botataung Pagoda, which was very beautiful to look at in design.
