Regreso

Ahora estamos de vuelta en Paderborn. Después de nuestra salida de Pamukkale, hicimos una pequeña escala en Estambul, donde volvimos a encontrarnos con el amable personal del Second Home Hostel, y luego tomamos el autobús de regreso a Alemania; cabe destacar que fue en autobús, no en avión. Nos esperaban más de 30 horas de viaje, en las que las medias de trombosis, almohadas suaves y Netflix se convirtieron en nuestros mejores amigos. Finalmente, llegamos a München, desde donde tomamos un Blablacar y el tren de regreso a Paderborn. Al final, estuvimos casi 48 horas de viaje.

Es una sensación extraña simplemente subir a un autobús y estar de vuelta en tu ciudad natal relativamente poco tiempo después; especialmente después de viajar durante unos 4 meses. A pesar del coronavirus, estamos muy contentos de haber hecho el viaje. Si alguna vez tienes dudas sobre si deberías emprender un viaje o no, recuerda que es posible viajar por el mundo incluso durante una pandemia sin coche o avión y sin mayores problemas. Si realmente quieres viajar, únicamente házlo!

Now we are back in Paderborn again. After leaving Pamukkale we had a little stopover in Istanbul, where we met with the friednly staff of the Second Home Hostel again. Then we took the bus back to Germany. In the over 30-hour-ride our thrombosis socks, soft pillows and netflix became our best friends. Like this we finally reached Munich late at night and took a Blablacar-ride and the train back to Paderborn. After all we had been on the road for over 48 hours and were quite exhausted accordingly.

It is a weird feeling to simply enter a bus and be back in your home town again in a (relatively) short time afterwards; especially after travelling for about 4 month. Despite Corona we are really glad that we did the trip. Should you ever be in doubt whether to go on a journey or not, just remember the fact that it is possible to travel the world even during a pandemic without a car or a plane and without any bigger troubles. If you really want to travel, just do it!
