Once again...

Once again, a short, bright night, but with coffee, porridge, and cloudberries in tow, we're going with full power under the beautiful (once again) blue sky towards Tromsø. The narrow road leads (once again) along a picturesque fjord with turquoise water, red, yellow, and blue wooden houses. The good or, depending on the wind, the bad thing about the fjord detours is that you can see where you will be in about two hours. Fjord behind, all the way back, and on the other side. But thanks to the power of cloudberries, we're rolling quite well, and we quickly cover the last 55 kilometers/490 meters of altitude to Tromsø. The road winds through a vast, steppe-like plain (once again, no moose to be seen for Peter). In Tromsø (the largest city in northern Norway with about 78,000 inhabitants), we have reserved an affordable hotel located right in the city center at the harbor. We enjoy the Nordic summer zest for life, explore the city, and then we see a great restaurant at the harbor and now we're hooked... Beer tasting from the local brewery, hamburgers, and french fries. We lick our fingers contentedly, toast to 700 kilometers of trouble-free driving, and shine as brightly as the evening sun. Once again: thank you, Norway!!!!
