Week 25 - Bye Gizzy

This week, we lost motivation. We had zero motivation to work and decided that Friday would be our last working day. Coincidentally, the employer also decided that the current work step is finished, as the blossoms are too far open and bees must be released for pollination. So everyone finished work on Friday.

We worked over 40 hours this week and spent our evenings with others at the house or on the beach watching the sunset.

This weekend is Labour Weekend, and there were some markets and events in the city on Saturday. We wandered around the city with a small group, ate at the market, and checked out the local goods like dishes, jewelry, and more.

On Sunday, it was time to say goodbye, and we headed to Napier. We have been here before, and it's on our way south.

Now we are relaxing and recovering from 190 working hours in 27 days. The chapter 'Working in NZ' is hereby closed. We have earned enough money that our remaining time here is practically free.

We will definitely miss the game nights, sitting together, and the good conversations. But we are looking forward to exploring the South Island in the coming months.
