Week 23 - Money Money Money

Spoiler: this will be our shortest blog entry so far.

This week we worked over 60 hours, so there wasn't much time for anything else. We are now nearly 30 people in the house. We found a good connection and gather every evening to push through the workdays together. The job is still not enjoyable, but it is not physically demanding, which is why we haven't had a day off in 10 days.

One evening, we all spent time together at the beach with pizza and a sunset. A small bonfire was even lit. So we are trying to make the best of a good time despite the heavy workload.

On Saturday evening, our employer treated us to pizza and beer. It turned out that we celebrated Julian's birthday during the night. Franzi had organized cake and candles for Sunday. This was brought forward so that Julian could blow out the candles at midnight.

On Sunday, we only worked in the morning and in the afternoon went with a small group for a wine tasting right outside our door. For dinner, we both went to a restaurant and ended the day in a relaxed manner.
Unexpectedly, Julian had a party and a lovely day full of new friends. We will definitely fondly remember that day!
