From Liebenberg to the Tornow Mill

On my second vacation day, I don't sleep in for long. Unusual but also nice. I get thrown directly from the bed onto the yoga mat and then onto the terrace of the castle. With the most beautiful weather. It's 7:00 AM, and the day is just waking up. Chickens, a stork, and so much nature around me. The following breakfast motivates me to do 10 sun salutations facing east, a shoulder stand, plow pose, seated twist, and to conclude with Paschimottanasana. Afterwards, I feel awake and well-rested. (Bee, I'm sorry, but when we go camping on Usedom, the body, mind, and soul will take a creative break)

There are hardly any guests on the terrace. I suspect it's because of the wasps. So, I first order a coffee. A bit too floral for my taste, but the cappuccino afterwards is perfect.

While having breakfast, I think about my route. Of course, THE ROUTE has been set for weeks, but this year is quite different.

I'm going to start with my bike. It's to the mill in Tornow. 26 km. Just right for a start.

It goes along the most beautiful bike paths that Germany has to offer, well, I haven't cycled on that many yet. Nevertheless, my heart opens up. Few cars, lots of nature, and all my senses are being stimulated. It smells of wildflowers, the landscape spreads its richness before me, and the bird world gives it all they've got. Verena, my nice colleague, could surely explain the same to me. I love the cuckoo and the dove and can recognize them, but that's about it for my knowledge of birds.

Then the unexpected happens; my battery gives up. Following my daughter Lotti's advice, I am prepared for emergencies. Just as I want to connect my power bank, I realize that one also needs the phone cable for that. I forgot that. Now good advice is expensive. I just drive into Zehdenick and send a multitude of supervision requests into the ether.

Heide, from my yoga group, asked me before my vacation what I would do if I had a flat tire, well, I would ring the next doorbell and whine for help.

What might work in case of a flat tire could also work with the missing phone cable.
