By bicycle from Binissalem to Castle d‘ Alaro
Today, hiking is definitely off the table. That's the plan. I'm sleeping in until 9:00 AM. I start with a delicious coffee and a big breakfast. I have to admit, the bread tastes...

Stairs workout describes it better.
There is only one direction… upwards.
But it is beautiful.
A charming mountain village in the Soller Valley. The truly authentic mountain village is hidden high in the Tramuntana mountains. The alleys are narrow, charming, and very steep.
I have no plan. It's just too exhausting to walk after that. So I follow my senses. I smell spring, listen to the birds, and thankfully, I can also read.
And so my next destination comes to me; Cami de Alzina Fumadora, right at my feet: And 1 hour and 20 minutes should be doable.
But, as I said, it goes steeply upwards.
After an hour, I'm fed up.
What actually drives a person? Do you always have to reach the goal? Is it to have a task? What is it with us? I actually quite like not having to turn on my brain.
So I take a break first, high up, high enough to be close to the red kite. Wow. Unfortunately, I'm currently biting into my cake instead of pressing the shutter.
Shortly after, I hear a huffing… a male person is struggling up the path… soon after a second, and finally a third.
That’s the good thing about these climbs… the men are all too exhausted to think about terrible things that could happen to us women.
So, exercise creates safety. 🤣 I feel safe…
wherever I am.🙏🏼😉
