Berlin, Abu Dhabi and Melbourne

Our year in Australia started with a long and exhausting flight. After a short layover in Abu Dhabi, we landed in Melbourne yesterday after a total of 20 hours of flying. Michael picked us up from there and first took us to Brunswick, a suburb of Melbourne. We spent the first few hours there in a bar and then in a Turkish restaurant. Later, he dropped us off at Annalise (his sister) and Sam, our first accommodation in Melbourne.

Sam and Annalise live in a small house in Coburg, another suburb of Melbourne. We got to know both them and their children Katie (6) and Huco (4).
