75. Tag Tokyo, Japan 07.02.2026

We have left the southern waters, crossed the equator again, and enjoyed another beautiful sunset.
After 5 sometimes rough sea days, we arrive in the afternoon in Japan.
Tokyo welcomes us with drums and light snowfall at 2°C.
Japan, on the Pacific, consisting of 6852 islands and 127 million inhabitants with the Tokyo metropolitan area, home to 30 million people.
We explore Tokyo Waterfront City. Distinctive buildings interspersed with garden areas featuring blooming tulips (despite the winter weather) and bonsai trees. Sumo wrestling indoors, monumental statues outdoors.
We conclude the evening with a traditional meal (Shabu Shabu) in the city.
